News coming from within Mamelodi Sundowns is that Esrom Nyandoro is set to pick up a coaching role with the team’s academy.
The Zimbabwean’s contract with the team expired June last year with the source revealing that the club don’t want to lose his experience, hence the coaching opportunity with the club’s youngsters.
“They are just finalising all the logistics about him coaching the academy,” the source told Goal.
“They don’t want to just lose his experience and that’s why they want him to coach the juniors.
“The club also want him to help develop players for the team, just like other ex-Sundowns players who are currently coaching the youth development at the club, he will do that,” the source added.
Nyandoro has had an illustrious career at Chloorkop, making over 200 appearances for Sundowns in a 10 year stint with the club.
